[en] Arriving in Santiago de Chile, it took 2 hours and a half between immigration, baggage claim, customs and new luggage shipment.
While waiting for the flight to Punta Arenas, we tried to book dinner at “La Luna”, but when we got there we found out that this was not possible and we had to fall back on the “Beagle”, on this Valentine’s day all the restaurants were full. And in fact the locals avoid the “Beagle” because of the poor quality and biblical expectations. Fortunately, we discover the “Cerveza Austral Patagonia – Torres del Paine” which will become a faithful companion at our Chilean dinners.
On the way back to the accommodation, we also have the bad experience of the tear gas used to control the demonstrations even though we didn’t see any!
[fr] Arrivés à Santiago du Chili, il a fallu 2 heures et demie entre immigration, réclamation des bagages, douane et nouvelle expédition des bagages.
En attendant le vol pour Punta Arenas, nous avons cherché à réserver le dîner à “La Luna”, mais arrivés sur place nous avons découvert que ce n’était pas possible et nous avons dû nous rabattre sur le “Beagle”, en ce jour de la Saint Valentin tous les restaurants étaient pleins. Et en fait, les locaux évitent le “Beagle” étant donné la qualité médiocre et les attentes bibliques. Heureusement, nous découvrons la “Cerveza Austral Patagonia – Torres del Paine” qui deviendra un compagnon fidèle lors de nos dîners chiliens.
Sur le chemin du retour au logement, nous avons aussi la mauvaise expérience des gaz lacrymogènes utilisés pour contrôler les manifestations même si nous n’en avons pas vu !
Arrivati a Santiago del Cile ci sono volute 2 ore e mezza tra immigrazione, ritiro bagaglio, dogana e nuova spedizione del bagaglio, per fortunata pochi minuti prima della partenza da Madrid Piero ci aveva avvertito che tutti i bagagli devono essere ritirati a Santiago contrariamente a ciò che ci era stato indicato sia a Ginevra che a Milano.
Aspettando il volo per Punta Arenas, con scalo a Puerto Montt, abbiamo sfruttato lo spagnolo di Luigi per riservare la cena al “La Luna”, ma arrivati sul posto abbiamo scoperto che non era possibile e abbiamo dovuto ripiegare sul “Beagle” visto che il giorno di San Valentino tutti o quasi i ristoranti erano pieni. Ed in effetti i locali evitano il “Beagle” vista la qualità mediocre e le attese bibliche. Fortuna che scopriamo la “Cerveza Austral Patagonia – Torres del Paine” che diventerà una fedele compagna durante le cene cilene.
Sulla via del rientro verso l’alloggio facciamo anche la brutta esperienza dei gas lacrimogeni usati per controllare le manifestazioni anche se non ne abbiamo viste!
